Please avert your eyes if you have a weak stomach, or have just eaten from L & L's. (just kidding) Well after my last blog, we were set out to kill and I mean KILL...some rats. Phase 1 - clean house, only letting the scent of food come from traps..(see phase 2). Phase 2 - set large traps with sticky food (peanut butter & bread work best). Phase 3 - do not hurt self in process of setting up traps. Phase 4 - place traps in irresistable places...in front of stove, on counter next to stove, in front of cupboard where they have left trails. Phase 5 - WAIT!! Don't worry it won't be long.....................
...........go to bed...............read scriptures............SNAP!!!
We went out to see Rat #1 (for tonight) in a trap very dead, leaving a nice puddle of blood. There is no picture of Rat #1, because I was not thinking of this fun documentation during the time of clean up and removal. Jase picked up the trap and put him in a bag, I then HAD to take him out to the dumpster outside....YUCKY!! We then went to bed..thinking that the action was over for the night...yeah right!
While rat #2 was twitching I ran to find the girls Pinata bat so Jase could wack the bugger.
AFter rat is already dead...Jase pretends to wack it. Another cleanup and removal. We then pulled out more traps, and set them. Then we went to bed.
I woke up about 6 am, very nervous that the dog or child might find a rat trap (even though we baracaded the kitchen off). I went to the kitchen to find more of our "friends".
Rat #3 infront of the dishwasher!
Then the last trap which was on top of the counter had it's bait contents removed, but no rat....very disturbing!! So after a long battle the war is not yet over. Tonight we go again!
