Our Christmas Eve Dinner was a good spread of: Ham, Green Beans w/Bacon and Almonds, Red Mashed Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and a Veggie Tray. We ate lots and enjoyed the company of some friends.
We acted out the Nativity Story, see our 2 wisemen on the left side and Mary & her donkey on the right. They really enjoyed acting it out.
Our Baby Jesus wasn’t so excited to act, maybe next year.
And then Christmas Morning, we only got 1 or 2 pictures, but this is the children really enjoying one of their presents.
We are so grateful at this time of year for family near and far…mostly everyone is far. But we really appreciate the Merry Christmases that we got, the calls, the Christmas Cards, gifts and the I LOVE YOU’s. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year!!
absolutely LOVE the wisemen and mary! they look adorable. maybe shae will appreciate his importance more next year! your kids are so awesome. love you
Our baby Jesus enjoyed eating the sheep and the cow and the blanket he was swaddled in.
Our Joseph decided that baby Jesus was just a bit too chunky and quite heavy.
Mary gave up riding the donkey to be the angel so she could wear the golden pipe-cleaner halo and white hooded towel. She gave the Reader’s Digest version of the angel’s part even abbreviating “David” to “Dave”.
And the wiseman became a shepherd, and then a cow, and then a super-hero/tornado. These things happen, ya’ know.
Such a great time to see your whole family in their Christmas reenactment of the Nativity and opening presents. It’s just wonderful to see these pictures of your family. We miss you all.
props on the Christmas card this year Rach! LOVED IT! 🙂
Love the new layout!
I am so happy you grandchildren all have blogs. Next best would have been to have you five home for our get together at Corie & Kenzies. Klai and Rykel and Shae are the sweetest. The nativity dress up is such a great tradition, especially with such awesome characters. Love you all so much. Hugs and kisses all’round! GIGi
