I just love Spring, the new fresh air, brighter sun, a wave of something new to inspire and create. Well this last weekend Klai’s school had a fatherhood event, basically they did crafts, taught about teeth, planting and they also had tons of games, bouncies and more. So since it was FREE we jumped at the thought of a FREE family event, especially to start of Spring Break. So there they taught the kids to plant seeds and gave them a choice of Ginger, Corn, or beans. So Klai chose corn and Rykel chose Ginger. We took them home and each day have taken great care to water them and watch intently to see when they might grow.
Klai’s corn just sprouted yesterday!! So exciting to watch her get excited about seeing the process of planting and growing something.
Rykel’s Ginger has grown just a bit. She loves to water her little plant.
So inspired by all these plants, Jase decided to plant some of his own. Here are two palms and two tealeaf plants. The kids love to help water the big trees too.
oh, how fun. i love planting. i remember growing up planting our garden. it was always fun to plant it, but no one ever wanted to weed it.
daddy daughter time is so important – look at those sweet faces – these will be fun memories!
