Easter Party

Mar 22, 2008 | Celebrate, Easter | 10 comments

So I used to do much more playgroup activities with the kids, but since Shae came I have found myself too busy at times to do these activities. Well I finally set up a Easter Party. It was fun, the playgroup norms that have are STILL here came and newbies too.

We first played games; egg & spoon race, tri-hop-athon, duck duck goose, and then a mom down the street brought this fun parachute. I remember playing with this when I was in grade school. The kids really loved it.

They loved running under and shaking the parachute.

Then the hunt came. We were fortunate to not have any neighbors next door in the Wingets old house, so we used their yard. It is such a big yard, with beautiful trees and bushes to hide the eggs in. The kids really enjoyed running for the eggs.

After much hunting they found their treasures!!

I just love Easter Egg hunting, the kids will play with the eggs for days/weeks at a time and rehide them over and over again. The kids had a great time with some good friends.

SO FUN!!! I sure wish we were there to see all of you. What a great thing to have it in our old back yard again. That was so great last year! My in-laws are so greatful you guys are still using the yard and occasionally stealing some of the great plants back there. My father in-law says, “take the ALL!!” Love and miss you guys.
