A terrific day always starts with the Weather, as you can tell with Shae’s hair that it is breezy. And breeze is essential when going to the park.
Shae loves to climb up the slide and then slide down!
The 2nd essential terrific item would be dressing for the occasion. As you can see we have properly outfitted the children in Hats to protect from sun damage. Pants are needed for the running and protecting against falling down. And the most important item of dress would be NO SHOES!! Who needs shoes in Hawaii.
The 3rd essential thing in a terrific park day and probably the most important would be SWINGS!! When we ask the girls where they want to go…it is always the park with swings. They love them!
This was actually Shae’s first experience with swings, I think he liked them. He was holding on pretty tight to the front of the swing but he would still smile when he would come closer to us.
And one of the last essential items in a terrific park day would be BEING SILLY!! What fun is it at a park if you can’t be silly!! I love Klai’s crazy faces…I wonder where she gets it from.
i can’t wait until i can come and play too! i think – for me – the essential item for a terrific day at the park is YOUR KIDS! They are so fun and so cute! love you
We were going to go today too, but it was just too cold! Or were these from another day?
oh I so wish we had a park close! The closest one I have found is either the School which is about 4 miles downhill or a really good one in PG that is 5 miles away, so for right now its TOO faraway for walking with Z. I wish we could be there with you. So much fun. I miss your kids. and shae is getting so big. I cant wait til you come in the summer. When are you coming again???
we also LOVE the park – especially with no backyard parks are essential to the overall well being of my son! when we ask him what he dreamed about during his naps or at night…it’s almost always ‘park’! he’s addicted – just like your kids are i’m sure! i love the crazy faces of klai – i think that her crazy dad is totally responsible for that!
aah…the TVA playground. We loved that playground, too. Except for when we caught some kids making shi shi on the slide. YUCK!!!! But we still kept going anyway.
The little Shae man look like he’s having a lot of fun. Must have been a great day at the park.
