My favorite thing to buy at yard sales are bikes, trikes, scooters, basically anything with wheels that the kids can entertain themselves on. Well I found this car at a yardsale and the lady gave it to me for FREE. I was excited. She did that because at the back of the car is normally a pully bar for the parents to pull or push their child in the car. Well who needs that when you have bungy cords.
Outside in the yard we hooked up the bungy cord to Klai’s bike and to Shae’s car and let her pull him around.
It worked for a bit, but Jase thought it would be great to pull the kids down the street.
you are so good at getting deals – i think you should give lessons! you can tell your kids are really having fun (funny faces and all) and with such great parents no wonder they are so happy! love you
Ok when you come to Utah this summer you will have to teach me how to yard sale shop. I haven’t really ever been so I will need tips from you 😀 That little car is the best. Glad they had fun.
i love all the barefoot craziness!! only in hawaii!! i wish we had room for lots of fun outdoor toys! bikes are so much fun! shae’s face while jase is pullling him is soooo cute! love the curls, love the blonder hair and love all your cute little squirts – can’t wait to meet the newest addition!
Cute…aren’t wheels magic for kids? It’s amazing how much they love anything with wheels…maybe it’s freedome!
ooops, no “e”! slip of the finger.
what a fun day. i need to go garage sale-ing with you again. it seems you always get the deals.

keepin’ the Ghetto, Ghetto.
We just got a $2 cinderella bike for Anna at a yard sale. The lady asked $5 so I was gonna pass and as I was checking out with my other stuff she asked if I would take it for $2. Couldn’t pass that up!
