Trip to Utah – Departure

Jul 2, 2008 | Family Life | 5 comments

Well I know it has been well over a month since I’ve blogged, but here we go:

We got to take a trip to Utah and visit family and do some fun vacation things. It all starts with the airport and plane ride!! I decided to go earlier than Jase and so
traveling with 3 kids was kinda crazy, but we got upgraded to first class and so I thought I could handle it.

Here we are waiting for the plane.

Watching planes come and go.

So for this plane I thought we were special in First Class because each seat got a tv that had multiple movies, games and tv shows. Well we weren’t that special, the whole plane got it too. But it was a life saver. The kids who were awake off and on got to watch a movie whenever they wanted. The food was much better than coach class. The sandwich was huge!!! And we got drinks and snacks (cookies/peanuts) often. But other than that, I didn’t notice a huge difference in flying first class.

Which airline were you on to get the TVs?

Delta had the TV’s, but our return flight didn’t have it. I think it is only certain planes that have the tv’s.

Wow. First class? Last time I flew to Hawaii it was on Squeeze-yer-butt-Airlines. Since then, the rear-end has expanded.

Fun pictures though! Airports are very entertaining for kids. 🙂
