I have heard of Neighbor Jane Payne from my sister, NIkki, but I never really checked out her site. She is great. I love her look on life and her many wonderful ideas, recipes, systems, etc. Well I found this list she has of 200 things that are various experiences. She says to Bold the ones that you have done. So I HAVE. Just some fun info. You find out a lot about your self and others……JOIN in the fun, copy the list and blog your own experiences.

1. Touched an iceberg
2. Slept under the stars
3. Been a part of a hockey fight
4. Changed a baby’s diaper
(all to many)
5. Watched a meteor shower

6. Given more than you can afford to charity

7. Swam with wild dolphins

8. Climbed a mountain

(Does the “G” mountain count?)

9. Held a tarantula

10. Said “I love you” and meant it

(again and again and again)

11. Bungee jumped

12. Visited Paris

(thank you my lovely husband, one day I’ll get to “explore Paris!!” and not just visit)

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea

14. Stayed up all night long and watched the sun rise

15. Seen the Northern Lights

16. Gone to a huge sports game

17. Walked the stairs to the top of the Statue of Liberty

(well when we went it was after 911 and you’re not allowed to do it anymore…sad)

18. Grown and eaten your own vegetables

(thanks dad for teaching me the ways to a good garden and mom for how to cook the wonderful things you can get from the garden)
19. Looked up at the night sky through a telescope

20. Had an uncontrollable giggling fit at the worst possible moment

21. Had a pillow fight

22. Bet on a winning horse

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill

24. Built a snow fort

25. Held a lamb

26. Gone skinny dipping

27. Taken an ice cold bath

28. Had a meaningful conversation with a beggar

(I would say that most people have seen me do this…if not, maybe you haven’t known me long enough!!)

(my first day in New York, we arrive to our hotel unload all our stuff and then we attempt to head out to hit the town. We get into the elevator and BUMP…stuck. Only for 20 minutes thank goodness..but a REAL NY experience)

    I DID IT :D, took a bit but I did it. Rach I totally remember the elevator incident 😀 it was you, dad, and moi. That is definitely one for the books. But my ? is, why was it just the 3 of us??? lol i cant remember.

    the rest of us got in the other elevator it was a race or something. we won the race and you won the experience.

    Such a fun list! I’m glad you’ve discovered Jane’s blog. She is an incredible lady in person and reminds me a lot of Aunty Danelle (how she’s so kind and sincere). Jane is one of those people you wish were your neighbor and best friend.
