I think I need a new phone. A landline. I received a phone call today and it went like this:
me – “Hello.”
person – “Hi…….is KLAI there?”
me – “No she is not, she is on her way to gymnastics.”
little girl – “oh ok…..(almost hangup)”
me – “Did you want to come over and play with her?”
little girl – “No, I just wanted to TALK to her.”
me – “oh OK, I will have her call you when she gets back.”
little girl – “Ok, thanks Aunty Rachel.”
WHAT…..my 5 year old is already getting phone calls….to “just talk?!!”
Holy Crap..am I that old, that my children are CHATTING on the phone with friends. AAAHHHHH…so I think I need a phone. THE HUB. It looks pretty cool. Does anyone know how much it costs & such?

and after reading this first page of posts, i must say that i LOVE your garden, to the point of being envious.
and you must try pai pai fishing. it is THE best. and i think the deepest you get is up to your knees, at least in my experience. and the best part – you catch fish with such little effort. awesome.
