Babysitting Exchange

Jul 30, 2009 | Family Life | 6 comments

We have always paid for a baby sitter since Klai was 6 months old. And now that we have 4 kids & going on a decent date takes atleast 4 hours..that means shelling out a pretty penny. So lately we have sacrificed going on dates for other needs. But that means I am grouchy.
I NEED MY DATES!
So chatting with a friend, we decided to do a BABY sitting exchange. And this is what happens at our house while we have 10 kids total (4 are mine).
These two were just too funny, they were making funny noises & LAUGHING & LAUGHING. They get along GREAT.

Outside was a bit EVENTFUL. With so many 1st borns, things get bossy. But I am proud of these girls they worked out any issues….mostly ALL by themselves.

I think that was a bike train they were making.
Then of course we ended with a movie. Classic: Toy Story

AAAHHHH now I get to go on a date for FREE 2 in 2 weeks. YEAH!

of course your girls are awesome – so are your boys! This is the only way we got to go on dates when our kids were little too – that or make Alan a pan of sweet cherry or apple desert – 13 yr old little brothers are so easy to bribe!

Glad you get a date – they are really important!

swapping is the only way to go! that's what we do in cali – being in the school environment helps – lots of poor students that want to swap. i love it!

ten kids!! maybe it was a sign of things to come πŸ™‚ except heaven forbid you have sextuplets next!

one, maybe two, at a time πŸ™‚
