New Years Arrivals

A friend of ours have a milkweed tree in their yard & see butterflies constantly. So they gave us 3 caterpillars right before Christmas. And on New Years Day 2 of the 3 hatched.
New Birth for the New Year!
This is the 3rd one still in the crysalis.
Klai holding one of the butterflies, according to her we had 1 girl & 1 boy. Its amazing that when they first come out & learning to fly & use their wings..they will just walk around on your fingers.

Jase holding the two. Such beautiful butterflies. Its fun doing Science at home!!
