Old friends/new friends

Jan 11, 2010 | Family Life | 9 comments

Goodbye old friend.
This friend has been with me through many creations. It helped me sew curtains for many apartments, it helped me make many bags & purses, it created dolls for the girls & Easter dresses & burp cloths. It’s time to say GOODBYE…sniff sniff.
MOVE OVER SISTER!! a new friend is here. Jase totally & completely surprised me this Christmas. WOW!! I have been hinting for quite some time to get me a new sewing machine. It didn’t have to be fancy, it didn’t have to embroider, it needed to work & do buttons/button holes.
AND HE DID IT!!!
I finally have a NEW sewing machine!!

What a fabulous gift for Christmas, the gift that keeps on giving. I love my honey.
THANKS JASE you the best!

go Jase! Very few gifts would rank higher in my opinion! I'm so excited for you! I hear Kenmores have a great reputation for being durable and reliable. Can't wait to see what you make.

I LOVE my Kenmore sewing machine. Before that, I used my hand-crank sewing machine I've had since I was eight. It cost 2 pounds at Peacock's Auction. I still have it and think it's lovely- but the Kenmore works much better.
