Sculptures of the GREAT….

Jan 14, 2010 | Family Life | 6 comments

In Art we learned about sculptures & In history we talked about a sculpture of Queen Nefertiti & the Great Sphinx. So we got to use clay today & mold our own sculptures.
They are working so diligently. I love it.
The Final products. I think the red, Trevor’s, started out as a lamb, and turned into a pig. The green, Klai’s, is a puppy.

That's very smart to do a hands on lesson with the art lesson. I should make my lessons fit together like that better. I love that your pictures show how interested they are in what they're doing.

love how focused klai is on her sculpture – she is so adorable and you are (of course) so creative!

on a side note – does klai really have all those red highlights in her hair?
