BE PREPARED for the longest PICTURE POST EVER:
So I knew my class reunion was coming up, but when I learned the dates were a month earlier than our trip to Utah would be…I knew I wouldn’t be able to go. I still had high hopes that a miracle would happen & we could go. WELL it did..Monday before the reunion flights went half off & Jase got paid better than expected…so YES we did it. Jase, EVE & I bought the tickets & we did a quick trip to Utah. We had many babysitters for the kids: paul staples & fam, Hyde Fam, Jacob & Janice & Kaisha Ho Ching.
SO we left Wednesday…
The flight was easy…with only one very sleepy baby, it was the easiest flight since we’ve had children. I got to sleep lots!!
We arrived in Vegas around midnight, we got a hotel for $20 & I went to sleep.
Jase went down to the Mac store around 2AM & waited in line to get the new IPhone4, he was #15 in line. At 7am there was over 3000 people in line to get phones. He got his & came back to the hotel, we checked out & hit the road to Utah a little after Lunch time.
(yes the IPhone on the LEFT is broken, I dropped it at the BBQ reunion, the one on the Right is his replacement phone)
ROAD TRIP with just us was so fun. WE talked & sang…there was no potty breaks needed, no screaming & no hitting.
We got to Utah & visited Lori, Laura & Kort. WE got to see Lori’s beautiful new baby boy.
We headed to Mac’s House & visited with her & Bren.
Then visited with Calabios. They sang Happy Birthday to me, we had Ice cream cake & presents. We got to see Erin’s Beautiful house & studio & all of Mom’s wonderful paintings.

Then even later that night we visited with Joe England. We love Joe & his lovely new wife Laura. We ate at this wonderful new yogurt shop. YUMMY!
What a full DAY!
We visited Mom at work & shopped around. Friday evening was the reunion. It was at a place c alled Noah’s – a reception place. There was food, lots of laughing & hugging & “Oh my goodness, look at you!!” AFter food, they had awards..YES I WON: traveled the farthest & had the most kids. I knew I could win something!! And they sang Happy Birthday to Me & Lu. AFter awards they did Q & A to find out what people were doing with their life. This was my favorite part: who lived where, who served in the army, who served a LDS mission, who had kids, who was still single, who had degrees/masters degrees, who traveled to many countries & more. They ended the night off with some hits from the 90’s our era, we rocked out to: Barbie song, Ghetto Superstar, MJ, and more. I loved it. I loved seeing old friends.
AFter sleeping in lots…as much as one can with a baby. We went to the FAmily Reunion BBQ. THAT WAS A BLAST. Not as many came to this as Friday Night, but it was fun to see everyone’s kids. I really missed our kids at this point.

This is Kehl, Lu’s boy, he has the funniest faces. This is his angry grouchy face.
At the end of this fun reunion, we went back to Calabio’s, packed up. Took a few pictures & hit the road.
And before we hit the airport, Jase’s friend: Taron Prince, met us at Walmart to visit with us. VEGAS is a scary place…very very scary.
As we drove down to vegas, our perfect vacation ended with a GREAT sunset picture.
What a perfect birthday weekend & present. Visiting with Family & Old friends. I loved it.
