I am a big fan of having Annual Passes or Seasons Passes to a local theme park/museum/etc. Since getting our PCC’s passes for Rykel’s birthday…we have gone 2 times since then. WE love it. I don’t know why we didn’t think of this sooner or in other areas that we have lived. I love that you can get them so cheap when you are a local resident. Now PCC is awesome, but I know others that live close to Disneyland, NOW that would be awesome!
When I started Homeschooling, I wanted to get passes to everything that I could…budget wise that was just unrealistic. For this upcoming School year I plan to do a Field Trip every – everyother week. And for the summer we are gonna go PCC every week. Its something to look forward to. And since we are not going on a vacation this will be perfect!
Do you guys have a fun local theme park/museum that you go to?
We have passes to quite a bit of things. With a family this size, after paying the regular admission, and annual pass is normally only 5-10 bucks more! We have Busch Gardens (pay for one day, go again all year!) zoo, aquarium and the children's museum. The zoo pass was only .50 more than the regular admission!

So fun! We thought about going to PCC when we were there last and our girls were little, but we didn't think there was anythign we could do with the littles. Guess we were wrong! I love the face paintings.
We have Disney passes (courtesy of Tim's work). I've been waiting for Spring Break to be over and go before Summer starts. Trying to beat the crowds there is all about timing.
Amuesment parks are great HS tools. They learn to wait their turn, patience, P.E. (all the walking), and usually there is something educational there too. 🙂
I'm all obsessed with getting season passes too! We love our PCC passes although we do not use them as often as I originally planned and will go MONTHS without stepping foot on the property altogether, but I still think they are totally worth it! I would LOVE a D-Land pass!
