I look forward to Fall break. A good week to not do school, to run around and play. Well I find that the kids go stir crazy quite quick. So we were excited that 3 of the kids would be participating in the Fall Play this year. And what I love is that the homeschool kids can do it too…anyone around the age can.
The idea is FANTASTIC!
Play in a week. Audition is Friday before, they get their parts & script Friday. Monday – Friday, a couple hours a day; they come learn dances, practice their parts, make the props/background or scenes/costumes/etc. Then Friday lunch time they perform the play! BRILLIANT!
The LOST TABLET was the name of the play. It is about how the peace has left the land and we need a hero to bring it back. But not your regular Greek Gods or Super Heroes….we need Laie KIDS! The Kids search for the Lost Tablet that has the answers for creating Peace in the land again.
Shae was a car.
Rykel was a flower from the Hanging Gardens.
Klai was an eqyptian. I was in charge of this group.
Molly Tanuvasa & I choreographed their dance & helped with their costumes.
I miss this. It was seriously a HUGE highlight of the school year last year for my entire family.
