Easter Adventures

Apr 2, 2013 | Celebrate, Easter | 0 comments

After living in this cold wasteland in the mountains, as spring arrives I feel like it is breathing new life into people and adventures. So after being cooped up inside we were MORE THAN EXCITED to get out! And Easter brings so many fun activities, of course one of our favorites in Easter Egg Hunts. For our Happy School adventure we learned about THE AWFUL WAFFLE restaurant that was putting on an Egg Hunt and Free WAFFLES…who can beat that!

It was awesome! We got AMAZING FOOD: waffles, fries, pizza and more! I EVEN WON the drawing for these cute girls that make the cutest stuff! And of course the kids found TONS of eggs filled with sugary goodies. It was a great day!

We also hung out with our HS friends. Their kids are getting so big and so cute! Of course we definitely dominated the numbers game there….but we love them just the same. And Yes Laura is holding miss Cora, her baby is now to big to be held like that.

Here is most of the crazy kids! Kell had her niece and nephew in there too! I think at this point they had downed a TON of goodies and are in sugar overload mode!

And of course Saturday before Easter we MUST hit all the local Egg HUNTS! Its a must. Jase happily drove us to our wonderful adventures. We first went to the Lindon Egg Hunt. They sectioned the park off in age groups, I LOVE this idea….I feel so bad when my 3 year old can’t pick up eggs fast enough because a 10 year old is grabbing all the loot. Egg hunt went good, they got a handful each.

Miss Evee really started to LOVE this egg hunt game! Isn’t she so beautiful here. Her smile is so pure and that sun is perfect on her face:) I love this precious girl.

Here EVEE is getting her goodies!

And this last pic is of the PG egg hunt over at Discovery Park. They had moved the location, so there actually wasn’t a million people. Don’t get me wrong there was tons of people, but they had sectioned this hunt off into so many areas and there was so many eggs that our kids filled their baskets and there was still tons left. WOWZERS! what a hunt. The kids definitely loved this one! But its not all about the candy and eggs right?!!
