What a wonderful blessing to be surrounded by family. This is really what life is all about, creating memories as a family. I am so proud that Rykel decided to make the decision to be baptized. We were very fortunate to be able to have her baptism also on her birthday, Sunday April 7th, 2013.
Here is the front and back of her program. She picked her songs that she wanted to sing.

I loved that she asked a grandparent from each side to participate by doing the talks. After a very spiritual program and wonderful confirmation experience, the room was filled with the spirit. Jase asked Uncle Aley, Grandpa Calabio and Grandpa Bennett to say a few words. It was a wonderful night.

We were excited to make this happen so that Grandparents could attend. Grandpa & Tutu Bennett were in town for just a short while and we were thrilled to be able to have them come to the baptism. We had lots of cousins attend: Summerills, Lymans, Bushs, GG & Foster, Janice & Jacob Auna, Julie & Jarom Auna, Uncle Aley Auna, Witbecks, and a few others from the ward.
The following Sunday Rykel and other 8 year olds that had been baptised were invited to sit down with the Stake President and his counselors. Stake President Allred was the father of a girl that I went to high school with, so that was fun to chat with him. Rykel is a special girl and I am so pleased that she is making big decisions.
