Boise welcome with BLOOD

Apr 24, 2013 | Family Life | 0 comments

We were so fortunate to have friends (that we had not yet met) offer a place to stay. Jase and Chad Woolner became friends through Facebook and then began to chat about business and other stuff. Soon they were great friends! The moment we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, they are such nice people.

Within minutes of arriving the kids ran outside to play. Rykel gets on the swing, the cut metal ladder tips the opposite direction and comes toward Rykel and somehow she gashed her head open! Welcome to Idaho!
She was a trooper, we pulled her hair away and cleaned her up. Jase ran to the drugstore for medicine and medicinal glue. It was quite the first day. She survived and her head patched up really well.

The kids had a blast making new friends with everyone. Our kids loved their kids.
Sam is 8, Noel is 5, and Ruby is 2.

The next day as the men worked, us women took the kids to the park to play! It was beautiful and sunny and wonderful to be somewhere warm!

The neighborhood park was excellent. Evee, Shae and Noel enjoyed the digger.

Amber was so kind to push all the kids on the swings, I swear she was there for a good 30 minutes pushing different kids. Here is Wyatt and Ruby that she’s pushing!

Cora LOVED the swing. I think this was her first time in a swing. Love the excited tongue face:)

And no kid can be a kid without FLYING high on the swings and FLYING off of the swings!

I love swings, but the bars invite a different kid. An adventurous and brave kid. These kids are awesome!

I love this picture of Klai. She is enjoying the sun! And our Hawaiian family can’t resist the sun.
And at one point I just had to sit and put my feet up. It was warm enough to take my shoes off and run on the grass. How lovely!
