PG Carnival & Parade

Jun 22, 2013 | Family Life | 0 comments

Growing up in good ole PG, there are many things I fell in love with & still have fond memories of. My summer favorite was the PG carnival and Parade.
Having kids I find it hard to go to these events without paying an arm & leg. Of course we found a cheaper way to attend this fun activity. Some local carnivals have a cheaper night, usually the first night it is open. So we got tickets for everyone to go on 4 rides (per 5 kids = 20 tickets) for $20. Not too bad….still more expensive than I’d liked to have spent, but ok.

Some were not thrilled that they didn’t get to go on the rides!

And some were more than THRILLED!

A few days after the Carnival, we went to the PG parade. Parades are an awesome CHEAP entertainment! Kids get to be entertained by many floats, dancers, animals & of course they throw candy! LOVE IT!

Parades on the mainland are MUCH bigger than our little Laie parade. I think the kids are getting used to things here on the mainland.
