We always look forward to a summer filled with family. We love going to the Bennett Reunion. This years reunion took place in St. George again, we love it there. The highlight of the year is hanging out with family.
Evee turned 3 earlier this year & she is ready for pool fun! She made the most swimming progress this trip. She was a bit afraid of the pool, but Grandpa & Tutu helped get her over her fear.
Evee became very brave with lots of jumping to Grandpa & Tutu!
She would even swim back to the edge of the pool. This girl is getting pretty Brave!
This place had plenty of pools, we would often go to this pool early right when it opened and have it all to ourselves! I love the greenery around it, makes me feel like we’re in Hawaii….just a bit!
Even Shae-man is becoming a fish. That Wyatt is getting browner every day….ahhh I love my Hawaiian babies!
It was great to have multiple generations together. GG is 83 turning 84 & she is hanging out in the pool with the rest of us. I aspire to be as active as she is at her age, what a great woman!
By the end of our week there, I’m pretty sure Evee could join the circus & be a pro! She would constantly ask to go to the pool & be flown all day by Grandpa & Tutu!
When the sun was too hot, or we had had too much & needed a cool break….we went for a movie! Pixar’s Monsters University had just come to theaters & everyone….kids & parents wanted to see it.
We found quite a few monsters there!
When the sun was too hot, we also opted for a long tub time. Cora is finally able to hang out in the tub and splash around without getting too scared or falling into the water! Evee loves having a bathtime playmate.
We also attended the closest LDS church there. I love that where ever we go, we can find a church of our faith & go and worship.
We love spending time with family & on this day we had a special dinner that tutu taught Klai & Rykel how to make. The kids loved Squid dogs & shells! They had fun sharing a special meal with Tutu & GG. After dinner on this Monday, we sat GG down for FHE & interviewed her. We asked her questions about her childhood, if there was TV or microwaves or telephones. She told us many stories about Tutu’s dad, Jack & other fun family adventures. What a great experience to learn from her!
