MOVING IN!

Jul 9, 2013 | Family Life | 0 comments

Leslie made me an awesomely cute apron & washcloths for my housewarming/birthday gift! She’s so talented & I love them.  NOW I am ready to move in!

After coming back from the Family Reunion we were ready to move into our Heber House! The kids were pumped and more than eager to go!

Oddly finding help to load the Uhaul was quite hard….but good ole Cousins & Hawaii friends came to the rescue. Thanks Jacob Auna & Mandy Kongaika!
Who knew we would fill the BIGGEST UHAUL they had?! Living in my parents basement & filling their garage & backyard with my yard sale goodies, we had no idea we had so much stuff!
I found a few goodies in the online Facebook Yard Sale groups. I got the boy’s dresser & 2×3 cubby for $40 total. Great FIND!
I also found a great bunkbed, wood finish that needed a facelift! Of course I went with a Peacock blue & it turned out great! The big Girls LOVE it!
Most of the rooms are nice & have ok color, but the big girls room downstairs has a nice red stripe around it. Which was just nice for the boys that used to live in this room. But I want to lighten it up in the basement so it doesn’t seem so dark. We primed and primed and primed that stripe and repainted the room a very light blue/teal color!

One of the things I think we do quite well is finding the beauty around. Heber is not short of such beauty, in fact it may be one of the more beautiful places in Utah! I love it here.
