Aunty Nikki visits

Oct 8, 2013 | Family Life | 0 comments

I love chatting with Nikki and especially when surprises happen. So after quick planning Nikki, Danny and cousins came for a quick trip to UTAH…quick like 2 weeks. And we were super excited to visit. She first stayed with Calabios, we all hung out at Grandma’s house.
Cora, Esther and Lil Jarom. All a couple weeks a part.
Aunty Nikki is great at showing her talents. My kids were amazed at the toe song!

For FHE while it was just Nikki & I with 14 kids, we did what any sane mother of 14 does and takes the kids outside.

Luckily the weather was ok warm, so we had them do relay races.

We tired them out with Crazy jumping, crawling, flipping and more.

The girls were quite coordinated so they had a big advantage.

But those boys were fast…and they caught up rather fast.

But the great equalizer is the crab walk. It was loads of fun!

When the big kids were at school the little girls played with everything they could find.

And that one time that it snowed and the Wilcox’s hadn’t seen snow in a long time. We geared them up in snow stuff & they all ran outside and had a blast.
Evee and Ruth were best buddies!

We lastly took the Wilcox’s up the mountain to have a picnic dinner…..well during this time of the month Congress was shut down and so that also meant the National Parks were closed. SAD SAD! But we found a nice place on the side of the road on the way to Strawberry reservoir. We ate and played and the kids had a blast freezing and running around. Its always fun having Aunty NIkki and kids coming to visit!
