Lights at Temple Square

Dec 27, 2013 | Celebrate, Christmas | 0 comments

As the Holidays rolls around I have so many ideas and activities I want to do. But with Jase’s schedule its hard to nail anything down. We finally did…TEMPLE SQUARE!
Yeah I was super excited to do this, I like this tradition especially because this is Christ Centered. For the month of December I try to do more Christ centered Christmas activities rather than Santa emphasized activities.
We parked under City Creek Shopping Mall and had a little fun on the walk to Temple Square. Daddy is always fun to be with!

He makes us smile no matter what we’re doing!

It was freezing, but luckily it was like a 5 minute walk. And the lights were VERY BEAUTIFUL! funny…I didn’t take that many pictures of the lights:) I was enjoying the moment…right?!

We took a nice stop in the Visitors Center and looked at all the information areas, this one was of ancient Jerusalem. LOVED it! Look at those kids all lined up, so cute.

Grandpa & Grandma Calabio met us there at temple square, we were excited to hang out with them. We don’t see them much now that we live up in Heber…so we gotta make the trek down the canyon to see them.

They hadn’t seen the Macy’s Candy Windows this year either, so we showed them all the creative yumminess!

This one appears to be a santa theme of some sort.

This one is the Earth with a big emphases on Utah/Temple Square poking out.

 Story time ornament!

And an Elephant?!!

 Last but not least…a bear?!
Well they are all quite impressive considering they are all made out of candy!
