Ever since Jase & I got married we've been trying to surprise each other at birthdays, or anniversaries or mothers/fathers day. I figured since we were somewhat new to the area, he wouldn't expect anything....this would be the perfect time for a SURPRISE Birthday Party!
Theme: Minute to Win it!
I love this show; watching it, playing it, basically anything about it.
I had him run to the neighbors to help build something in their basement, after 30 minutes he came back and SURPRISE! (I always forget to document the surprise....I will remember next time.)
We played some awesome games.
Tear It Up
Junk in the Trunk
The pair of players must work together to transfer 3 empty soda cans to a nearby table using only a spaghetti noodle and their mouths. Try this one out before you do it. We had trouble with the weight of the cans breaking the spaghetti noodle. I would probably use a thicker noodle if I did this again.
Delores, Cases & Single Husbands
This Blows: Contestant blows up a balloon, then in 60 seconds tries to push empty plastic cups off of the table. Jase finally won one.
Hole in One: Couples will move a tennis ball, pressed between faces, from one chair to another and drop it into the tennis ball container. The Russells rocked this one!
On The Rebound:
One partner ties a clipboard around his waist and stands behind a small trash can. The other partner throws ping pong balls attempting to bank the shot off the clipboard and into the trash can. Team must get 5 balls in
Flip your Lid: Contestant will have 3 chances to flip an empty plastic cup onto the top of a bottle. Sadly I couldn't get this one.
This great party of course ended with some awesome birthday cake made by Jacki, sadly she couldn't come because of her moms failing health. We missed her.
It was a YUMMY carrot cake!
#Birthdayweek continues in awesomeness!
