While Jase trained and worked, I got to spend a lot of time alone. Its quite odd being alone when usually you have at least 3 – 6 attachments. I went to Hukilau beach and hung out. I did a little workout, I listened to scriptures, talks, books on tape. Mostly I enjoyed the sound of the waves uninterrupted.
I had to take some pics of the places around town for the kids. This is Kahuku Intermediate and High School.
The beautiful Laie LDS temple. It is so beautiful inside and out. We love to visit the temple to find peace and answers to our prayers. Jase served in the temple for many years, I think 7-8 years. What a blessing to have, so close to home. Now that we have moved to the mainland, the closest temple is 35 minutes away…not bad, but Laie was less than 5.
I of course visited the Hydes….many many times. Montana was just a pup a few years ago and loved to play with Rusty. She is the best Fetch dog.
But The best picture that describes life in Hawaii are these chickens. Most days we would see a chicken and her chicks crossing the road or finding a place to hide in the bushes.
Another Hyde visit, the kids were making fun gifts for our kids. Emma making shrinky dinks and Naleo showing off his Lego computer. Genius….these kids are Geniuses!
The perfect palm tree across the street from our dream bed and breakfast.
