FRUGAL Birthday Weeks Activities
Feb 7, 2014 | Celebrate |
I have a love/stress relationship with the month of February. Its a fun month filled with activities for Jase’s birthday and also activities for our anniversary…but it’s also a SUPER STRESSFUL month because of tax season coming up and we are usually strapped with money. Well because of that I like to find as many frugal activities as I can to make Jase feel loved and celebrated!
What is Birthday Week? I like to do as many little/big activities as I can plan for the days/week surrounding the actual birth day to CELEBRATE.
AND I love to surprise Jase…so this is super fun for me!
The first few days of February Jase was out of town, so when Jase got back into town the kids made little gifts to give to Jase. All given one day after the next, this was our little birthday celebration for his #birthdayweek.
Homemade Gift #1 – from Rykel
A special Jaseboard
Homemade Gift #2 – from Shae
A Tie for Sunday, YES Jase did wear it!
Homemade Gift #3 – from Wyatt
A gift of Artistry
Special gift #4 – From Cora
Since she’s so busy, she set aside one-on-one time with Daddy to give her a skate lesson
Birthday Event
Girls Date with Dad for Lunch.
(Jase had a gift card to Smashburger, so this #birthdayweek date was FREE!)
Of course we ended our lunch date with a fun toss!
Birthday Week activities can be anything, simple like receiving some homemade gifts, skate lesson to a lunch date. I enjoy making my loved ones feel loved, especially for their birthday.
I feel that everyone should be celebrated!
