It’s back to school time! That means it is also back to school shopping time. If you’re a new homeschooling mom, you might be wondering, “What do I really need to homeschool successfully, and what can I save money on and not buy?”
Over the years I’ve learned which back to school items were the most useful and which ones just sat in my closet, never to be used. In this post, I’ll share my do’s and don’ts when it comes to back to school shopping.
Distance learning. Hybrid schedule. Homeschooling. This is an unprecedented time as parents are faced with making some tough decisions about their kids’ education. No matter your choice, I’m here to help you transition from a regular public schooling structure to a homeschool structure.
Before I get started, there is ONE thing you NEED to know. Whatever form of schooling you decide on for your kids this year, be confident in your choice. Don’t feel like you need to do what everyone else is doing. Don’t second guess your choice when you see what other people are doing. Do what’s right for your family.
I have traveled to ALASKA almost 20 times since I was a tiny little 12 year old just like Shae. Everyone would joke that the salmon would pull me into the river, and it actually happened a few times. I gained a LOVE for the state of Alaska due to the freedom I felt there and the amounts of fish I could catch… and stay dry most of the time!
