With a family of 8, you can imagine how crazy cooking can get. Add in extra family members and cooking can get overwhelming! Most of you know that my kids help with meal planning and cooking during the week. Thanksgiving is no different. They help out and it is just another way that we bond as a family.
If you want to involve your kids in the holiday cooking (and I highly recommend that you do), here is a list I’ve compiled of easy Thanksgiving dishes that even your kids can cook. I have even included a list of dishes that don’t require any cooking.

Thanksgiving Dishes that don’t require cooking
- Cheese and cracker platter
- Veggie tray
- Ham Crostinis
- Spinach salad with pecans, apples, feta cheese & raspberry vinaigrette dressing
- Mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, & basil sticks
- Charcuterie platter
- Spinach artichoke dip
- Ham & pineapple cream cheese rollups
