Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for making treats. Today, I’m sharing with you a few Christmas treats kids can cook. You know I love involving my kids in the menu planning and cooking process. Holidays are no different.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite Christmas treats kids can cook.
1. Cookies for Santa
There is no Christmas treat more classic than cookies for Santa. Kids love Santa and kids love cookies. So it makes sense to combine the two and involve kids in making cookies for Santa. Here are a few fun recipes to try.
2. Hot Chocolate Bar
One of my favorite ways to warm up during the cold winter months is with hot chocolate. Why not make a fun night out of it and create a hot chocolate bar with your kids. Make some yummy hot chocolate and be sure to have all the fixings on hand to add to your hot cocoa. Here are a few of our personal faves:
- Marshmallows
- Whipped cream
- Candy Cane sticks
- White chocolate chips
- Caramel Sauce
- Sprinkles
- Pirouette Cookies
